Privacy Policy
Effective: August 8, 2026
Tisota is a time-tracking app for iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Mac. This policy explains what data the app handles. It applies to all platform versions of Tisota.
The short version
Tisota does not collect, sell, or share your personal data. Everything you track stays on your devices and in your personal iCloud account. The app contains no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party services.
Data stored by the app
- Your tracking data. Activities, sessions, and settings you create are stored locally on your device.
- iCloud sync. If iCloud is enabled on your device, your data is synced between your devices through your private iCloud (CloudKit) database. This database is tied to your Apple Account and is not accessible to the developer. Apple's handling of iCloud data is described in Apple's Privacy Policy.
- NFC tags. Tags you set up with Tisota contain only a link with an identifier. Tags are read and processed on your device; nothing is transmitted to the developer.
- Notifications. Notifications are scheduled and delivered on-device, or through Apple's push service for sync purposes. They contain no data accessible to the developer.
Data received by the developer
None — the app sends nothing to the developer's servers, because there are no such servers. The only exception: if you contact support by email, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message. This information is used solely to respond to you and is never shared with anyone.
Deleting your data
You can delete your data at any time inside the app, or by deleting the app from your devices. Data synced to iCloud can be removed via the iCloud settings on your device.
Children
Tisota does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
